Q: Why are your prices for classes so much lower than others?
A: This is easily the question we get the most. We operate as a not for profit. It is our mission to share with as many people as possible. Our teachers have income from other sources so that we can offer lower prices.
Q: Does the class provide enough time to learn Reiki?
A: Absolutely. Reiki is a natural energy healing modality that is easy to learn and master. The classes always include plenty of practice time so students can experience Reiki firsthand. We have provided many complementary classes to children (9-15 years old), and they have also been able to learn and appreciate Reiki healing.
Q: What about class size?
A: We do limit the size of the class. The classes will usually have 2-10 students.
Q: Do you offer support after the class?
A: Yes, we encourage contact, and we have been at the same phone number, email, and website since 1999. Also, we are very active in sponsoring healing circles, Reiki shares, and festivals to help keep our students actively practicing.
Q: What tradition is taught in the class?
A: The classes are traditional Usui Reiki.
Q: Is there any scientific documentation on the effectiveness of Reiki.
A: Yes, absolutely. There are volumes of documentation done by independent researchers over decades of study. You may read some of that information here: Reiki Science.
Q: Is Reiki a religion?
A: Reiki is not a religion but an energy healing modality. Sometimes referred to as a healing of intent or laying on of hands.
Q: Will Reiki be compatible with my religion?
A: Becoming more comfortable with Reiki will help everyone appreciate their spiritual path better. We have had students who are clergy of every major religion, and they have agreed with this.
Q: Can I take the three levels in one weekend?
A: Yes, many students take all 3 levels together on the same weekend, which is fine. Energy is unaffected by linear time, so there is no logical reason to wait if it’s convenient. We have provided affordable Reiki training to thousands of students since 1999. Our classes are held regularly in many cities in the USA.
Q: Can I pay another way other than PayPal?
A: Yes, you may pay with your credit card through PayPal; you don't need to open an account with PayPal; only use your credit card. Once you select the courses you want to take, PayPal will take you to their site and provide the option to pay through your PayPal account or with your credit card.
Reiki - Level 1
At this level, the Reiki teacher provides instruction in the general Reiki practice. This level focuses on the introduction of the student to the foundations of Reiki, its history, and energy management. Also, students learn the Reiki practice and the hand positions used during a Reiki session for themselves and others.
The class includes support material, practice, attunement, and the level 1 certificate.
Reiki - Level 2
The Reiki level 2 teaches the Reiki symbols and their use in sessions to self or others. In this Reiki class, the student learns the techniques of distance healing. Completion of level 1 is required. We accept the certification from other schools. Bring a copy of your certificate to the class.
The class includes support material, practice, attunement, and the level 2 certificate.
Reiki - Master Level
This class is the advanced training for the Reiki Master level. This course requires having completed levels 1 and 2. The focus is for the students to learn everything necessary to teach Reiki. Students learn the master symbol's meaning and use. Also, the Reiki Master level includes step-by-step instructions on how to do an attunement. Level 3 attunement is a beautiful experience and recommended even if the student has no desire to teach Reiki to others.
The course includes support material, practice, attunement, and the Master Level certificate.
